My name is Jerelyn Clevenger.  I have been married for 40 years and have two grown sons.  My oldest son, John, is married and has a son of his own named Brady.  John and my youngest son, Brian, work together in the framing business.  I collect teapots and bunny rabbits.

Childcare has been my life’s calling for over fifteen years.  I feel that this is where the Lord has led me and it is a ministry for me.  Over the years, I have worked with one-year-olds and three-year-olds, as well as cooked.  I have also worked in a school-age summer program.  For six years prior to coming to work at Hilldale Christian Day Care, I was an assistant director at another local Christian center.  Since coming to Hilldale, I have helped start the food program and assisted in the office.  I am presently the director. 

 
Over the years, I’ve had a lot of Early Childhood Education training.  I’ve worked on my CDA and have completed three TECTA orientations: Administration, Preschool, and School age. I am also currently certified in First Aid and CPR.
